Walking with Dinosaurs!
What an exciting week we have ahead as we start the summer term in Key Stage 1. On Tuesday we start the exciting new topic of Walking with Dinosaurs with a discovering dinosaur day. This will include workshops on archaeology skills to help the children discover more about dinosaurs.
On Wednesday the whole school will be celebrating St Georges Day. Throughout the day the children will be learning about English heritage and the legend of St George and the dragon. Don't forget to send in some food for our street party and to wear red and white clothing.
Following on from discussions at parents' evening we have linked some useful websites which you can access at home to support your child.
https://www.rmeasimaths.com (Please see previous posts for log in details)
http://www.phonicsplay.co.uk (Interactive phonics games and also information for parents about Letters and Sounds)
http://www.oxfordowl.co.uk (Interactive reading books and activities that follow the National Book Bands)
Enjoy the week ahead.
Key Stage 1 Team.
